Chalk Barn is a luxury wedding and hospitality venue based in Wiltshire. Based on an organic farm, Chalk Barn has evolved to offer eco-first weddings, putting sustainability at it’s core. Designed to blend harmoniously into its natural surroundings, Chalk Barn is a blank canvas for engaged couples to make their own.
the goal
Following a rebrand in 2019, Chalk Barn were hit with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic - as many businesses were. With no weddings until early 2021, Chalk Barn’s aim was to increase visibility of Chalk and generate new enquiries for 2022 onwards.
Our aim at Skala was to increase brand awareness and drive wedding brochure downloads as well as viewing requests at Chalk Barn.
the approach
Utilising an integrated, multi-channel approach, we looked to increase eyes on Chalk Barn in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. We leveraged paid social, organic social, PPC and SEO into our mix, aligning content and tone of voice across the full range of channels to ensure leads needs were consistently met.
With venue aesthetic playing a key role in attracting couples, we used site visits to gather suitable content to include on our organic social and paid social strategies. We developed a keyword strategy to implement across all channels, from the website and PPC to our organic social captions. Finally, we looked to increase conversion rate by redesigning their brochure, rolling out an advanced re-marketing strategy and overhauling the lead nurture process in-house.
