TARKA London provides holiday camps, birthday parties and term-time classes for children aged 18 months - 7 years. As seen in Annabel’s, TARKA London offers developmental exercise, social networking and mental skill-building. Offering a traditionally British-themed approach to childcare, TARKA’s core values are to help to build strength, resilience and personal development in these key years of a child’s life. TARKA London operates across London, with their main venues in Notting Hill, Fulham, Chiswick, Knightsbridge & Marylebone.
the goal and challenges
Having seen great success in their original locations of Notting Hill and Fulham, TARKA London were looking to drive brand awareness in new areas and expand their communities of families who align with the TARKA vision.
The main goal for TARKA London was to drive first trials at the new sites and build a mailing list of warm prospective parents looking for holiday clubs.
As our collaboration progressed, the goal evolved and we looked to increase website conversion rate, improve in-house processes and drive revenue throughout the year.
the approach
We provided Paid Social & PPC services for TARKA London before incorporating Organic Social Media Management into the mix in Aug 2023. Word of mouth had played a huge role in TARKA’s success so far, so we utilised this concept within our Paid Social strategy. We utilised A/B testing, multiple creatives and re-marketing strategies to help optimise the campaign throughout. With a higher volume of warm leads at their fingertips, we then moved onto improving TARKA’s nurture strategy, evolving our working relationship to include Email Marketing with the aim of increasing conversion in the long-term.
the results
The impact landed quickly. In the first year, revenue rose by 44%, driven by a far more reliable flow of high-quality enquiries. More than 2,500 leads came through the campaigns and moved through the nurture funnels we built, which gave the client a much clearer pipeline and stronger visibility on future demand.
The shift in efficiency was even more striking. Their previous agency had been generating leads at roughly £14 each. Once the new strategy bedded in, that average dropped to around £3.50 with Skala. A 65% reduction overall. It changed the economics of their growth almost overnight, letting them scale with confidence and without the usual cost pressure.
